Help Us Out
Setting up and running a quality craft school is a costly affair. Just one good tool or piece of equipment can cost a decent amount, and then trying to make sure you have enough for every student… you get the point.
If you are willing, we would really appreciate any support offered. Here are two of the things we are looking for support with right now!
We are accepting materials directly, or you can donate financially below.
Tools and Materials
We need a good collection of craft tools and materials on hand to be able to teach all of the courses we would like to offer. If you are cleaning out an old shed, or know of a good stash of timber or craft materials you would be willing to pass our way, it would make a huge difference.
We can’t take everything, but please do get in touch if you have something to share!
Accessibility and Space
We want to make sure that everyone has access to a good quality space to learn and practice their crafts. To get started, we need to get these classrooms organised and with everything one needs.
Long term, the current only access to the upstairs classroom is via stairs, and we’d really like to install a ramp or wheelchair elevator to make this space more accessible to everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No, unfortunately. While we are working towards our Social Enterprise status, we are not a registered charity, and so donations made to us are not tax deductible.
-
Donations go directly to us. If you’ve allocated your donation for a specific fund, than we seperate that out in our budget not to be used for anything else.
-
There are definitely programs we are aiming to run where volunteering will be greatly appreciated! Most of our day to day work, however, doesn’t require volunteer assistance. Do get in touch though if you are interested in helping out, and we can talk about what’s possible.
